  • Oil

Instructions:

  • Melt the butter in a saucepan

  • Take them off the heat
  • Add the food colouring and stir until you have the perfect pumpkin orange
  • Add the Rice Kirspies and keep stirring until it's all mixed together
  • Roll the Rice Krispie mixture into balls - you might want to put oil on your hands so the mixture doesn't stick to you!

  • Let them cool
  • Enjoy!

Healthy Relationships

Check out this easy-to-read resource so you can quickly identify signs of a healthy or unhealthy relationship if you need to. Even better, it can be easily saved as an image to your phone so you can check it as many times as you need to!

It goes without saying, there are other things that could be added to these lists and if you are feeling worried, anxious or unsure about a relationship, don't hesitate to get in touch with one of our helpful contacts!

Now, test yourself!

Use this tool below to read the scenarios and make a decision whether they seem like a healthy or unhealthy relationship. Click the yellow button to find out the answer and get more info!

Scenario 1:

My boyfriend/girlfriend gets jealous when I spend time with other people. They're asking to see me every night and weekend, and I just don't have time to see my friends anymore.

Unhealthy: It's normal when you're in a new relationship to want to give that person a lot of your time! However, if they become controlling or demanding and you begin to feel isolated from people you were once close to, this is showing signs of an unhealthy relationship. Check out the relationship section of our site for more advice and useful links.

Scenario 2:

I choose all my outfits based on the clothes that I like. My boyfriend/girlfriend only ever says nice things.

Healthy: Being in a relationship doesn't give somebody the right to control what you wear. If someone is only ever saying positive and encouraging things, then that's great!

Scenario 3:

I'm able to fully be myself with my boyfriend/girlfriend. Even on my worst days, I don't have to 'put on a brave face' just to keep them happy. They support me no matter what.

Healthy: Being in a healthy relationship means that your boyfriend/ girlfriend will support you through the good times and the not so good times. You shouldn't have to pretend to be somebody you're not or pretend to be happy for them. If you feel as though your boyfriend/ girlfriend is making you do this, it's important to talk to somebody you can trust.

Scenario 4:

My boyfriend/ girlfriend is constantly asking me who I am messaging. I've caught them going through my phone a few times.

Unhealthy: Trust is a really important part of a healthy relationship, therefore somebody demanding information or going through your phone regularly isn't a good sign. If you can't talk to your boyfriend/ girlfriend about why they are doing this, then it's important to speak to somebody you trust or look up one of our useful contacts.

Scenario 5:

We had a big argument at the weekend, but we've managed to talk about it and go back to normal.

Healthy:This sounds like a healthy relationship. It's really important to remember that no relationship is perfect and people do have arguments. However, in this situation, communication is key. It's important to share how you feel and listen to what the other person is saying.
